What to expect during your visit
Choose your gem
All shapes and patterns are available, in the usual diamond crystal tone. Pick the one you like and decide which tooth it should sit on.
Clean the surface
The tooth surface is cleaned so the gem has a fresh place to sit.
Gentle placement
The gem is bonded to the surface of the tooth with a dental bonding agent, with no drilling.
Aftercare
Avoid anything crunchy on those teeth, and do not use your teeth to open things. Not recommended if you bite your nails.

Questions about tooth gems
Are tooth gems safe?
A tooth gem is very small and is bonded firmly to the surface of the tooth. Once the adhesive has cured it sets hard, with no taste or smell.

Will a tooth gem damage my tooth?
There is no drilling into the enamel. The gem sits on the surface and is temporary, held with a bonding agent. It can be removed and the surface polished smooth afterwards.

Can I get one during my cleaning?
Yes. A tooth gem can be added during your visit, or booked as its own appointment.

How do I remove a tooth gem?
The gem is lifted and the remaining bonding gently polished away with a finishing bur or a fine disc.

How long do they last?
How long a tooth gem stays in place varies from person to person, so we can't promise a set length of time.
